1. Introduction
These Host / Partner Terms ("Host Terms") apply to every individual, business, studio operator, venue operator, property manager or authorised representative who lists a space, studio or location on the wenuru platform.
By creating a listing or accepting a booking through wenuru, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Host Terms, the master Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation & Refund Policy, and the Disclaimer, each of which is incorporated here by reference.
In these Host Terms, "you" and "host" mean the person or entity operating the listing. "wenuru", "we", "us" and "our" mean EPIC NEXUS GROUP, the company that owns and operates the wenuru platform.
These Host Terms do not replace the master Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict, the master Terms & Conditions prevail.
Effective Date: 21 September 2026 Last Updated: 21 September 2026
2. Who can become a host
You can list a space on wenuru if you are:
- the owner of the space — individual or corporate
- a lessee, licensee or authorised operator who holds a valid lease, licence, permission or authority from the owner that expressly permits commercial hourly rental and short-term shoot use
- a business, company, partnership, LLP or sole proprietorship duly authorised to list and operate the space commercially
- a property manager or venue operator acting under a written mandate from the property owner
- an authorised representative of any of the above, with documentary proof of authority
You must be at least 18 years old and competent to enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are acting on behalf of an entity, you must have the authority to bind that entity.
You must not list:
- a space you do not own or are not authorised to offer commercially
- a space whose lease, licence or permissions prohibit short-term rental, shoot use or commercial activity
- a space subject to a court order, attachment, dispute or restriction that prevents its lawful use
- someone else's property without their written authorisation
3. Host account
3.1 Accurate registration
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and creating your host profile. This includes your legal name or business name, contact details, payout information, and any other information wenuru requires.
You are responsible for keeping all account information up to date. Outdated or incorrect payout details may result in delayed or failed payouts; wenuru is not liable for a payout sent to details you provided incorrectly.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for:
- keeping your email account, device and sign-in credentials secure
- all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by team members (Managers and Crew) you add to your listing
- notifying us immediately at support@wenuru.com if you suspect unauthorised access
Because sign-in uses an OTP sent to your registered email address, anyone with access to your email can access your wenuru account. Treat email security as account security.
3.3 Listing teams
You may add Managers and Crew to your listing. You remain fully responsible for everything they do through your listing — bookings they accept, prices they change, messages they send and records they create. Grant access only to people you trust, and remove access promptly when it is no longer needed.
3.4 Support access
To investigate a problem you report, or to resolve a dispute, an authorised wenuru administrator may access your account in a time-limited, logged support session. This is done only where necessary and every session is recorded in an audit log.
4. Space ownership and authorisation
This section is critical.
You must hold the legal right or appropriate authorisation to list and offer the space for the activities described in your listing. This is a continuing obligation — it applies when you first list the space and throughout the time it remains live on wenuru.
If your right to list changes — for example, your lease expires, the owner withdraws permission, or a regulatory restriction is imposed — you must immediately pause or remove your listing and notify support@wenuru.com.
wenuru may require documentary evidence of your ownership or authorisation at any time, including before your listing goes live, before releasing payouts, or in response to a complaint. See Section 19 (Verification and KYC).
5. Listing information
Your listing must accurately describe the space as it actually is. All of the following must be true, current and not misleading:
- Space type — photo studio, video studio, podcast studio, shoot location, event space, or other accurate category
- Title and description — factual, specific and free of unsupported claims
- Location and address — the precise address of the space, not a nearby landmark or a different property
- Size and dimensions — actual floor area; do not overstate
- Capacity — the realistic maximum for safe use of the space, not a theoretical maximum
- Rooms, sets and areas — only rooms and sets that are actually included in the booking
- Equipment — only what is physically present, in working condition, and included in the booking price
- Amenities — accurate list of available amenities (AC, Wi-Fi, parking, changing room, makeup room, pantry, etc.)
- Pricing and plans — see Section 7
- Availability — see Section 8
- House rules — any restriction, requirement or rule that applies to use of the space
- Photographs — see Section 6
wenuru may review, edit the formatting of, reclassify, de-rank, unpublish or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, duplicated, incomplete or the subject of credible complaints, at any time and at our discretion.
Once a listing is live, edits to certain gated fields are submitted as change requests that take effect only after our review. This protects customers who have already booked on the basis of published information.
6. Listing photos and content
6.1 Photo requirements
Photographs uploaded to your listing must:
- depict the actual space — the specific rooms, sets and areas included in the booking
- be current — not from a previous renovation, a prior tenant or a different layout
- be taken at your listing's actual location — not at a different property
- be photographs you own or are licensed to use
Photographs must not:
- be stock images or generic images of a type of space
- show equipment, sets or amenities that are not actually available in the listing
- be digitally manipulated in a way that materially misrepresents the space (colour grading for style is acceptable; removing walls, adding equipment or changing the apparent size is not)
Images uploaded to listings may be automatically watermarked with the wenuru mark before publication.
6.2 Other content
All text, video, logos, brand assets and other content you upload to your listing must be content you own or are licensed to use. It must not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other right.
If a third party claims that your listing content infringes their rights, we may remove it and we will pass the claim to you to resolve.
7. Pricing
7.1 Accurate and complete pricing
Your listing must show the full cost a customer will pay through wenuru. You must disclose:
- the hourly or fixed rate for each plan
- any minimum booking duration
- cleaning fees
- add-on charges
- any other mandatory charge that applies to the booking
You must not charge a customer any amount at the venue that was not disclosed in the listing and in their booking quote. Undisclosed charges at the venue are a breach of these Host Terms.
7.2 Taxes
You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting and remitting GST, income tax and any other tax that arises from the supply of your space through wenuru. You must issue tax invoices where required under applicable law. See Section 22.
7.3 Platform Commission
wenuru charges a Platform Commission on each booking, calculated as a percentage of the applicable order value under the commission rule in force for your listing at the time of the booking, plus GST on that commission. The exact commission rate applicable to your listing, the GST component and your resulting host earnings are displayed on every booking record in your host dashboard and on the Booking detail page.
7.4 Keeping pricing updated
You are responsible for keeping your pricing current. If you change your rates, the new rates apply to bookings made after the change. Confirmed bookings are charged at the rate shown at the time of booking.
8. Availability and calendar
You are responsible for keeping your listing's availability accurate at all times. This includes:
- Setting your operating hours and open days correctly and keeping them current
- Blocking dates and time slots when the space is unavailable — for maintenance, private use, an existing non-platform booking or any other reason
- Updating your calendar immediately when circumstances change
- Communicating temporary closures to customers with confirmed bookings as early as possible
Double-bookings caused by an out-of-date calendar are your responsibility. If a customer's confirmed booking cannot be fulfilled because your calendar was not updated, the customer is entitled to a full refund and wenuru may take action against your listing or account.
9. Booking confirmation and management
9.1 Booking modes
Your listing operates in one of two confirmation modes, which you set before publishing:
- Instant — the booking is confirmed automatically as soon as the customer's payment succeeds
- Manual approval — the booking is submitted to you as a pending request; you must accept or decline it
The mode is shown to the customer before they pay. If you use Manual approval, respond promptly — an unanswered request is a poor customer experience and may affect your listing's ranking.
9.2 Bookings created by your team
If you or an authorised team member creates a booking on behalf of a customer — for example, recording a payment collected offline — you are responsible for the accuracy of that record, for issuing any receipt required by law, and for having the customer's authority to make the booking on their behalf.
9.3 Honouring confirmed bookings
Once a booking is confirmed, you must:
- make the space and any promised equipment available for the full booked window
- ensure the space is in the condition described in the listing
- be available or have an authorised representative available at the agreed access time
A confirmed booking is a binding commitment. You must not cancel a confirmed booking without a genuine reason and prompt communication.
10. Host cancellation
You should honour every confirmed booking. If you are unable to do so, contact the customer and support@wenuru.com immediately, with a clear explanation.
If you cancel a confirmed booking:
- The customer receives a full refund of all amounts they paid through wenuru for that booking, unless the law requires otherwise
- wenuru will notify the customer on your behalf as soon as we are informed
Repeated cancellations of confirmed bookings may result in:
- de-ranking of your listing in search results
- suspension of your listing
- removal from the Platform
wenuru reserves the right to take further action — including withholding payouts, imposing restrictions or permanently terminating the account — where the pattern of cancellations causes harm to customers or to the integrity of the marketplace.
11. Customer communication
You may communicate with customers through wenuru's in-platform messaging system regarding:
- booking details, access instructions and location guidance
- space rules, house requirements and safety information
- shoot-specific requirements and logistics
All communication through the Platform is automatically scanned. Phone numbers, email addresses, UPI IDs, external links and requests to pay outside the Platform are automatically masked in messages. Attachments are scanned for unsafe content, text and QR or barcode payment codes, and may be blocked.
You must not:
- share or solicit contact details for the purpose of taking a booking off the Platform
- request, offer or accept payment for a Platform booking outside the Platform (by cash, bank transfer, UPI, QR code or any other means), except where the Platform expressly supports recording an offline payment
- use messaging to advertise unrelated services, harass customers or solicit users for another platform
Circumventing the platform is a material breach and may result in cancellation of the booking without refund, withholding of your payout, suspension or termination. See Section 25.
12. Host responsibilities during a booking
During the booked session, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- Access — the customer and their crew can access the space at the confirmed start time
- The space — is in the condition described in the listing, clean and ready for use
- Equipment — all equipment listed as included in the booking is present and in working order
- Amenities — all listed amenities are available and functional
- Safety — see Section 14
If a material issue arises during a session — equipment failure, access problem, safety concern — contact the customer and support@wenuru.com promptly. Document the issue in writing.
wenuru does not inspect or manage day-to-day operations of your space. You are solely responsible for ensuring the experience matches the listing.
13. Equipment and amenities
You must accurately represent every piece of equipment and every amenity available in your listing. Common categories include:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Lighting | Studio lights, strobes, ring lights, LED panels, diffusers, stands |
| Camera support | Tripods, gimbals, sliders, cranes, rigs |
| Audio | Microphones, mixers, monitors, acoustic panels, isolation booths |
| Visual | Backdrops, cyclorama walls, green screens, props, furniture |
| Facilities | AC/heating, Wi-Fi, parking, changing rooms, makeup rooms, pantry |
| Production | Teleprompters, monitors, streaming equipment, green rooms |
If a listed piece of equipment becomes unavailable, damaged or unusable before or during a booking:
- Update your listing immediately to remove the item
- Notify the customer before the booking begins, or as soon as you become aware during the session
- Contact support@wenuru.com if the unavailability materially affects the booking
Do not misrepresent the condition, specifications or availability of any equipment.
14. Safety and legal compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your space can lawfully and safely be used for the production activities advertised in your listing. This includes:
Safety:
- Electrical safety — wiring, outlets, load capacity for studio lighting and production equipment
- Fire safety — extinguishers, fire exits, emergency lighting and compliance with local fire codes
- Structural safety — rigging points, suspended equipment, raised platforms and loading floors
- Access — safe, clear entry, exit and emergency routes for the number of people your listing accommodates
Legal and regulatory:
- All registrations, licences, permits, no-objection certificates and consents required by your local authority, building owner, municipal corporation or other regulatory body for commercial shoots, occupancy and any specific activity (sound recording, food service, use of drones, special effects, etc.)
- Compliance with the permitted use of the building under the lease or title deed
- Compliance with noise, occupancy and public liability requirements
You must disclose any hazard, restriction, ongoing work or limitation that could affect a customer's use of the space.
wenuru does not inspect spaces for safety or regulatory compliance and does not issue safety or compliance certifications. A "verified" badge on your listing means only that we received and reviewed the documents we asked for during the KYC process — nothing more. See Section 19.
15. Space rules and restrictions
You may establish reasonable rules for your space, which must be disclosed in your listing before a customer books. Examples:
- Smoking / no-smoking policy
- Alcohol — whether permitted, restricted to certain areas, or prohibited
- Food and drink — permitted in the space or restricted to a designated area
- Pets — permitted or not
- Loud music or live music — permitted levels and times
- Heavy equipment — whether production trucks, heavy rigs or large props require prior approval
- Drones and aerial equipment — subject to local regulatory permission
- Special effects — fog machines, pyrotechnics, water effects — what is and is not permitted
- Furniture — whether existing furniture can be moved or must remain in place
- Wall modifications — whether drilling, taping, hanging or painting is permitted
- Overtime — the rate and terms for sessions that run beyond the booked end time
Rules that are not disclosed in the listing at the time of booking may not be enforced against a customer who has already paid.
16. Damage and cleaning
16.1 During and after a booking
You should inspect the space before and after each session. If damage, missing items or excessive cleaning are required after a booking:
- Photograph or document the damage immediately after the session
- Contact support@wenuru.com within 24 hours of the session end with photographic evidence and a description
- Do not attempt to recover costs directly from the customer without involving wenuru support
16.2 Customer liability for damage
Customers are responsible for reimbursing hosts for damage, loss, excess cleaning or third-party claims caused by the customer or their party, beyond normal wear and tear — as stated in the master Terms & Conditions.
16.3 Security deposit
If you require a security deposit, you may charge it separately and directly from the customer at the venue, provided it is clearly disclosed in your listing before the customer books. Security deposits collected at the venue are outside the wenuru payment flow — wenuru does not hold, administer or refund them on your behalf. Any dispute about a venue-collected deposit is between you and the customer.
17. Host reviews and ratings
Customers who complete a booking may leave a review and rating for your listing. Reviews are visible publicly on your listing.
You may:
- Publish one reply per review, to thank the customer or professionally address their feedback
You must not:
- Incentivise, pressure, coerce or threaten customers into leaving a particular rating or review
- Create fake reviews (through additional accounts, family members, friends or any other means) to inflate your rating
- Retaliate against a customer for an honest negative review
- Attempt to have legitimate reviews removed by false reporting
Review manipulation is a material breach and may result in removal of the review, suspension of your listing, and permanent termination of your account. Aggregate ratings are generated automatically and are not an endorsement by wenuru.
18. Host content and intellectual property
18.1 Your content
All content you upload to wenuru — photographs, descriptions, videos, logos, brand assets and any other material — must be content you own or are appropriately licensed to use. By uploading it, you confirm that:
- You own or are licensed to use every item of content
- It does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other right
- You have every necessary consent from any identifiable person who appears in a photograph or video
18.2 Licence you grant wenuru
By submitting content to the Platform, you grant wenuru a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt in format, publish, display, distribute and promote that content — in connection with operating, marketing and improving the Platform, including search engines, social media and advertising.
You waive any right to be identified as author in respect of routine platform display and to object to routine formatting, cropping and watermarking.
This licence continues for as long as your content remains on the Platform, and for a reasonable period after removal to the extent it persists in caches, backups and copies already distributed.
18.3 wenuru's intellectual property
You must not use the wenuru name, logo, or any wenuru brand asset without our prior written permission.
19. Verification and KYC
wenuru may require you to complete an identity, address and business verification process before your listing goes live, before releasing payouts, or at any time during your use of the Platform. This may include:
- Government-issued photo identity (PAN, Aadhaar, passport, driving licence)
- Address proof
- Business registration documents (GST certificate, incorporation certificate, partnership deed, etc.)
- Proof of ownership or authorisation for the listed space
- Payout account details (bank account or UPI ID)
You must provide genuine documents and correct any change promptly.
19.1 What a "Verified" badge means — and does not mean
A "verified" badge on your listing means only that wenuru received and reviewed the specific documents it asked for. It does not mean:
- Your space is certified as safe
- Your space meets any government or regulatory standard
- Your space is insured
- wenuru endorses or guarantees the quality, condition or legal compliance of your space
- wenuru approves the permitted use of the space
You remain solely responsible for every safety, legal, regulatory and insurance obligation relating to your space.
20. Platform commission
wenuru charges a Platform Commission on each booking. The commission is calculated as a percentage of the applicable order value under the commission rule in force for your listing at the time of the booking, plus GST on that commission. The exact rate applicable to your listing and your resulting host earnings are shown on every booking record in your host dashboard. For questions about your commission rate, contact support@wenuru.com.
21. Host payouts
After a booking is completed and any applicable clearance or hold period passes, wenuru remits the payout to your registered bank account or UPI ID, net of:
- Platform Commission and applicable GST on commission
- Any amounts owed by you to wenuru (refunds, chargebacks, penalties, adjustments)
- Tax deducted at source where applicable
You are responsible for keeping your payout details accurate. wenuru is not liable for a payout sent to details you provided incorrectly.
The payout schedule, any applicable clearance or hold period, and the settlement cycle for your listing are shown in your host dashboard and on each booking record. For questions about your payout status, contact support@wenuru.com.
22. Taxes and invoices
You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting and remitting every tax that applies to your supply of a space through wenuru, including:
- GST — determine whether you are required to register under GST; issue tax-compliant invoices to customers where required
- Income tax — report and pay income tax on your hosting earnings in accordance with the Income Tax Act, 1961
- TDS — wenuru may deduct tax at source where the law requires and may collect your PAN or GSTIN for this purpose
wenuru does not provide tax advice. Please consult a qualified tax professional for guidance specific to your situation. wenuru is not responsible for your tax obligations.
23. Cancellations and customer refunds
Your obligations when you cancel a confirmed booking — and the customer's refund entitlement — are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy and the master Terms & Conditions.
Key rules for hosts:
- If you cancel a confirmed booking, the customer receives a full refund of amounts paid through wenuru
- If a customer cancels with at least 24 hours' notice, the booking qualifies for free cancellation
- If a customer cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, cancellation rules as described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy apply
- Eligible customer refunds are settled within 7–30 days from the date wenuru initiates the refund
For the complete rules, see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
24. Prohibited host activities
As a host, you must not:
- Publish false, misleading, fraudulent or exaggerated information in your listing
- List a space you do not have the right to offer, or for a use that is not permitted
- Publish or transmit content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or otherwise prohibited under the master Terms & Conditions
- Discriminate against any customer on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, place of birth, disability or any other protected characteristic
- Accept or request payment for a wenuru booking outside the Platform (see Section 25)
- Manipulate search results, availability, ratings or reviews
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or claim promotions more than once
- Collect, store or misuse customer personal information beyond what is needed to fulfil the booking (see Section 26)
- Interfere with the Platform's operation, security or content-moderation systems
- Scrape, harvest or extract data from the Platform for any purpose not expressly permitted
The complete list of prohibited conduct is in Section 13 of the master Terms & Conditions.
25. Off-platform transactions
All bookings for spaces listed on wenuru must be made and paid for through the wenuru Platform.
You must not:
- Share your personal email address, phone number, UPI ID, or other payment or contact details for the purpose of taking a booking off the Platform
- Request, offer or accept payment for a wenuru booking by cash, bank transfer, UPI, QR code, gift card or any other means, except where the Platform expressly supports recording an offline payment
- Attempt to evade wenuru's automated message masking by splitting contact details across messages, embedding them in images, or using similar workarounds
Taking a booking off the Platform removes the customer's booking protection and your own payment record.
Circumvention is a material breach. It may result in:
- Cancellation of the booking without refund to you
- Withholding or clawback of payouts
- Suspension or permanent removal of your listing and account
26. Customer data and privacy
When a customer makes a booking on your listing, wenuru may share with you the limited personal information needed to fulfil that booking — for example, the customer's name, contact information made available through the Platform, and booking details.
You must:
- Use customer information only for the purpose of fulfilling the booking and related communication
- Keep customer information confidential and not share it with unauthorised third parties
- Not use customer information for marketing or any purpose unrelated to the booking without the customer's explicit consent
- Not sell, rent or transfer customer information to any third party
- Comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and all other applicable data protection and privacy laws
For more information on how wenuru handles personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
27. Listing suspension and removal
wenuru may at any time — with or without prior notice where circumstances require — restrict, de-rank, unpublish or permanently remove your listing if:
- Your listing contains false, misleading or incomplete information
- Your listing poses a safety or legal risk to customers
- You fail or refuse to complete the required verification process
- You repeatedly cancel confirmed bookings or fail to honour them
- wenuru receives sustained credible complaints from customers
- Your listing or conduct violates these Host Terms or the master Terms & Conditions
- We are required to do so by law or a competent authority
Where a listing is removed due to a breach attributable to you, any confirmed bookings on that listing may be cancelled and refunded to customers at your cost.
28. Host account suspension and termination
wenuru may suspend, restrict or permanently terminate your host account — with or without notice where circumstances require — for any of the grounds listed in Section 27, and additionally if:
- You breach any provision of these Host Terms or the master Terms & Conditions
- You attempt to take bookings or payments off the Platform
- A payment you owe remains unpaid, or a chargeback is upheld against you
- You provide false or expired verification documents
- Your conduct is fraudulent, harmful to other users, or unlawful
On termination:
- Your right to use the Platform ends immediately
- All listings are unpublished
- Confirmed bookings may be cancelled and refunded to customers at your cost
- Any amount you owe wenuru becomes immediately due
- Certain financial and compliance records are retained as required by law (see the Privacy Policy)
If you wish to close your host account voluntarily, contact support@wenuru.com and resolve all outstanding obligations — pending bookings, payouts and disputes — before requesting deletion.
29. Disputes
29.1 Disputes between you and a customer
Disputes about a booking are between you and the customer. wenuru may, at its discretion and without assuming liability, help both parties communicate, provide booking and payment records, and make a good-faith determination for the limited purpose of deciding how funds held by wenuru should be released. That determination does not bind either party's legal rights.
29.2 Raising a dispute with wenuru
If you believe wenuru has made an incorrect determination about your payout, your listing or your account:
- Email support@wenuru.com from your registered email address with a clear description of the issue and supporting documentation
- We acknowledge support emails within 24–48 hours (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM–8 PM IST)
- We aim to resolve disputes within 30 days
If the issue cannot be resolved through support, the dispute escalation process in the master Terms & Conditions (Section 21) applies.
30. Liability and indemnification
Your liability as a host — and wenuru's limitation of liability — is governed by the master Terms & Conditions (Sections 17, 18 and 19). Key points:
- wenuru's aggregate liability to you is limited to the Platform Commission received on the relevant booking, or ₹10,000 — whichever is greater
- wenuru is not responsible for your acts, omissions, cancellations or misrepresentations, or for any dispute between you and a customer
- You indemnify wenuru for all claims, losses, costs and expenses arising from your listing, your space, your content, your conduct, any injury occurring in connection with your space, and any tax or regulatory obligation that was yours to meet
31. Changes to host terms
wenuru may update these Host Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version.
Where a change is material, we will give reasonable prior notice by email, in-app notice or a notice on the Platform before it takes effect. Changes apply to your use of the Platform from the effective date. A booking already confirmed remains governed by the terms in force when it was confirmed.
Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Host Terms. If you do not accept them, stop listing on the Platform and contact us to discuss your options.
